Description
- Gundry MD Polyphenol-Rich Olive Oil contains hydroxytyrosol — a naturally occurring polyphenol that can neutralize free radicals, unlike anything we’ve ever seen at the Gundry MD lab. And since our olive trees are grown in a harsh desert environment, this triggers a “nutrient surge” that can give our olive oil 30x more hydroxytyrosol polyphenols than conventional brands.**
- This means Gundry MD Polyphenol-Rich Olive Oil can give you exponentially more protection from energy-zapping toxins that may make you feel tired and weak. That’s why you may notice that Gundry MD Polyphenol-Rich Olive Oil tastes pretty different from other olive oils on the market. It’s got a bitter, full-bodied, intense and robust flavor that takes some getting used to. But rest assured — this peppery flavor is a good thing.*
- And since we adhere to strict extraction and refinement processes — Gundry MD Polyphenol-Rich Olive Oil is absolutely delicious. So, how can you use this olive oil? Well, I like to just drink a “shot” of it each day, and I suggest you do the same. But I understand — the peppery flavor isn’t for everyone, so I’ve put together a few other ways for you to enjoy this powerful, flavorful olive oil — and all it’s potential fantastic health benefits, too.*
- Use it as a “finishing oil” on your favorite foods: You know how even the simplest foods feel a little more “special” at a restaurant? That’s because they’re likely drizzled with a little bit of oil — it can actually enhance the flavors in food. Accent sauteed greens, scrambled eggs, even that piece of grilled salmon — just make sure to drizzle it on your food after cooking.
- Make a salad dressing with it: One great way to “tone down” the oil’s peppery flavor is to counter-balance it with high-quality balsamic vinegar. Make your own DELICIOUS balsamic vinaigrette using one part Gundry MD Polyphenol-Rich Olive Oil, one part balsamic vinegar, a pinch of sea salt, and a teaspoon of dijon mustard — it’s great on ANY salad.
- Blend it into a smoothie: I know it sounds funny, but it’s great blended into a smoothie — especially a chocolate flavored smoothie (like Gundry MD ProPlant). Believe it or not, chocolate and olive oil is a classic combination, so go ahead and combine it with your favorite lectin-free chocolate smoothie recipe, and enjoy.
- *All individuals are unique. Your results can and will vary.
- No matter how you choose to take your olive oil — just remember what I always say: The point of food is to get olive oil in your mouth. And Gundry MD Polyphenol-Rich Olive Oil doesn’t just make food taste incredible… it helps you feel incredible, too.
- Use it in pesto: This classic Italian sauce is great tossed with lectin-free pasta or used as a sauce on grilled meats, veggies, or even on top of a salad. To make it, combine a half cup of basil or parsley, ¼ cup of toasted pine nuts, ¼ cup of grated parmesan, a garlic clove, and about a ¼ cup of Gundry MD Polyphenol- Rich Olive Oil in the food processor or blender. Then, store it in the fridge or freezer.

I’ve tasted several fresh, delicious, premium olive oils over the years. This olive oil was expensive and, unfortunately, tasted stale. I’m not sure if it was stored at improper temps, or if it just sat on a shelf too long somewhere in a warehouse. The taste reminded me of the decade-old vegetable oil that my mom always had sitting in the back of her kitchen cupboard. It was promoted as a premium olive oil that should be consumed by the tablespoon daily. I love, love, love olive oil, so that seemed like a delicious and easy way to add a healthy practice to my day. I was very disappointed. It did not have the expected bright, briny, rich flavor that I expected. It fell flat and greasy on the palate. It was definitely not worth the money. 🙁

I am using this product to maintain my weight and for clean fat intake.
I also have dry hair and it’s looking a lot shiner and much softer. I am still on my first bottle, but will update you when complete at least 3 months of taking

Taste really bad but it’s good for you. First thing I do when I wake up every morning take two tablespoons of it really fast because bad taste but wash it down with water then I’m done with it till next morning. I have sciatica and joint and muscle pain. That’s why I’m taking it, and I have knee pain. I do recommend this to everyone. Yes it’s alittle expensive but you’re worth it, I know Iam worth it.

This is some of the best olive oil I’ve ordered to my home! Some people are saying that it tastes “rancid” or that it tastes “old.” Actually, it’s to the contrary— it literally tastes like olives and has a good strong flavor. The olive oil we are used to has already lost its flavor by the time we purchase and consume it. When my wife and I visited Italy two years ago, we were surprised at how strong the olive oil was, and to be honest, a bit put off by it. But it was explained to us that this was the freshest version and that unlike wine that gets better and more complex with age, olive oil does the exact opposite.
Much of the oil we’re used to consuming has an aromatic smell, but has zero flavor to the tongue. I kept eating it until my brain (and tongue) finally began to “understand” it, and now I don’t want anything less! Listen to me— this is an EXCELLENT product. I’m dipping bread in it as we speak! It’s like eating olives right from the tree.
