Well wrapped and delivered in a reasonable amount of time
I really like this olive oil from Sicily
It is tasty but not overpowering

Back in 2005 we had this Olive Oil in a restaurant in Taormina and my husband talked the owner into selling us a bottle. We babied this bottle until we went back to Sicily in 2011 to discover they were now selling it in fine wine shops. We hand packed several bottles to take back home to AZ. To find this on Amazon was the best gift I can think of. We do not use it for cooking because the flavor is so good you really need to savor it.

Other than just dipping your French brad into it with some Parmesan and Balsamic, our favorite use is to make Aglio E Olio with bow tie pasta. I feel like we are back in Sicily – add a bottle of Planeta Maroccoli Syrah and you are ‘over the top’ in a simple, easy and real Sicilian dinner.

I would like to add that my package was wrapped in bubble wrap as well as being in a box of styrofoam pellets.
    No complaints in ANY department.

I love this EVOO, I visited this olive farm and vineyard at the base of Mt Etna. It’s beautiful and so were the people. The olive oil is awesome. We shipped a case or two home along with some wine.

  4. Monte Buchsbaum

When you open the bottle, there is a wonderful olive fruit odor.
Excellent with bread or frying an egg since these foods allow the full flavor of the oil to predominate.
I have visited the Planeta resort on the south coast of Sicily which has a beatifull setting, excellent food and outstanding wine and oil tasting experiences. Distant but remarkable sea view from our room.

One of the best olive oils ever made! Nice and tender. Recommend to all.
Be aware of this seller though as they do a terrible job in packing the bottles. They do not bother bubble wrapping the bottles, they just stack them in the loose box, and, as the result of this, 2 out 4 bottles I ordered arrived cracked and broken.

  6. Cecil Ann Simmons

I love, love, love this olive oil. I’ve used it for years. The taste is sharp without being acid. It is wonderful as a meal starter with bread. I use it on little pizzas made with English muffins and on rosemary ciabatta rolls with prosciutto and avocado.
