Wish I took a pic of the hardware but oh well you’ll have to take my word for it. Fire pit ring is sturdy, seems like it will work well and gives a nice finished look if anything else to my fire pit. Im still in the middle of putting everything together but once I put the ring on, it really ties it all together. I docked one star due to it being outside in the rain for 2 days and already showing signs of rust on the screws. It’s a fire pit so it’s not supposed to be perfect and shiny. I suspect that if the worst thing about the fire pit is that the nuts and bolts are showing signs of rust I’ll be happy with the product.

We call it the afterburner lounge. Works very well, looks nice.
There are many you tube videos on how to create an airflow to the top holes which are a secondary burn. The ports in the bottom row of bricks dont do the same thing. 4 feed directly into the main fire pit and 4 trap air between the bricks and the metal pit liner- hot air rises and escapes through the holes mixing with unburnt fuel (smoke) to burn it off.
This is a large diameter pit so needs a large fire to really get the secondary burn.

While there are some cheaper rings out there, we bought this one because we wanted to set it inside stone and had also seen where the holes drilled in the ring would help with reducing smoke. It was super easy to put together – I did it within about 15 minutes even with my littles “helping”, and it fits great into our 3 stone block high outer ring, with a couple inches on the bottom to allow for air inflow. With dry firewood, we had a SMOKELESS fire, which was nice because we hadn’t ever gotten that with our previous pit (with no inner metal ring). We’ve had it for about a month or so now and have had just 3 fires and LOTS of rain, and while there is some rust already where the screws are, it otherwise seems like it is going to hold up great.

Before we had the chance to use it, the bolts were rusty! Once we had a fire the paint seems the have burt off leaving it white as seen. Size is what we were looking for, easy to build. However looks awful.

Installed this a couple days ago, so far it already has some surface rust around some of the screws. We haven’t had a chance to use it yet due to weather, however it does look nice. If we run into any issues with it I’ll update my review.
One of the sections did have a bend on it out of the box, but it bent back to where it should be during assembly.
Took about 10-15 minutes to assemble.
Comes in 6 panels, I recommend assembling 3 sets of 3 before final assembly. Sturdy once assembled. Comes with needed tools.
Seems like a good value compared to other rings of the same size.

Nice high temp paint on metal, screws are painted also, goes together easily. Seems to work fine in generating a less smoke fire
