So easy to set up. I’m 54 and have lots of issues with my shoulders. I have a shiatsu massager which helps but this thing has saved my life and saved me a ton of money going to the chiropractor.
The pads are so sticky and so reusable. I bought extra pads but I used this like 10 times and I’m still using the pads that came with it. Also I only charged it once when I first bought it over a month ago and have not had to charge it again so far. I love all the different settings. It’s so small and compact I can easily take it when I travel as well. One of the best self care items I’ve ever purchased.

Although I have had EMS machines in the past that work well when used consistently and properly, this is my first time using a similar concept for pain relief. I think to use such device, that is TENS, in general you have to have some knowledge of acupressure/puncture. While many people extol the effectiveness and virtues of such machines, I have not had the same effect of “melting” away the pain. While there seems to be some effect on the painful area (lower back in my case) it might be more a placebo effect. I am in the process of learning more about acupuncture/pressure to really see if this machine can be put to better use. However, I think it should work, in theory. My back was at least hurting less, or seemed to be so after a 20 minute session. i remain hopeful that I will become better with it’s use over time and further knowledge.

However this review is about the machine itself, I feel that there is great value in both the machine and the customer service. I had issues trying to activate the 2 year warranty. I wrote an email, and within a day, I had a reply. But here was the surprise, although there were many little notes all over the box and inserts all suggesting to activate the warranty after which they would send additional free pads, I didn’t expect such a speedy service. I received 20 pads of same quality as the original in all the different sizes PLUS a 4 pad cable all within a WEEK!!! Now that’s service!

I always first judge a company by the after sales service and on first contact they came through without a hitch. I hope, and am pretty confident that they will be there if/when I need them in the future.

The machine has 24 settings, 6 different types of stimulation, all succinctly explained in the manual and which settings are used for pain reduction or circulation along with suggested placements of the pads. The 6 types seems to “feel” different from “prickly” to “punchy” to “kneading” and the 4 modes within these 6 different types further breaks it down, the best I can tell, to duration of the “squeeze” or a “prick.” Of course all 24 modes can be controlled in terms of intensity. There are 2 channels each independently controlled and you can use 4 pad cable on each giving you up to 8 pads of placement – 4 on each channel.

My overall conclusion is, if you are suffering from pain, this technology is well worth a try and this machine backed by 2-3 year warranty as well as free additional pads/cable and a very responsive customer service is solid value.

For the price it’s great! functions well, pretty simple to figure out. It’s awesome for those that have those persistent aches or pains. It really gets at those hard to stretch muscle groups.

I am disappointed I can only choose 1 massage at a time. You cannot rotate massages. There are 6 modes with 4 submodes, but the 4 submodes don’t rotate, you can only choose 1. Which means I am having to continously mess with it to change modes because 1 constant mode gets irritating after a few minutes. Also, out of 24 modes, many are repetitive.
It works well, small and compact, easy to use. Well packaged and came promptly.

I have back issues. My pain gets so bad when I get it, that i pass out. I normally need steroid shots to heal. My pain hit me Saturday night and I woke up on the floor, i drug myself to bed and couldn’t move after that. Since it was Sunday morning I opted to try this until I could go to my Dr. Monday. I purchased this and it delivered the same day. I had my son hook it up to me and let it run 30 minutes on medium. Afterward I was able to walk again. I was still in pain but not excruciating pain anymore. Here it is Monday morning and I’m at work. It’s painful but bearable. I’m going to hook it up to me again tonight and see if it continues to make me better. It has made a huge difference for me and I’ve only used it once so far. I definitely recommend this product.

SERIOUSLY? The company does NOT have to ask me for a 5-star review for free pads. I drive a school bus. My bus had to go in for regular service and they gave me this brutal tank abuser of a bus with a Darth Vader/Maul seat. The seat is an air-ride (warning: don’t EVER use an air-ride seat – one bump and you can say goodbye to your tailbone) and it would not go down all the way. I drive out in the back-road farm areas. Bumps everywhere. The PROBLEM with the seat is the seat BACK is WAY too high and is curved in such a way that it pushes your neck forward. Well, between the seat cramming my back INTO the crevice at the back and the seat BACK shoving my neck forward, it compressed my entire spine and I suffered a MASSIVE injury that reared itself two days later. I fell on the floor when my back suddenly gave out and I couldn’t support my legs. My friend has a Dr. HO TENS machine and she lent me hers until I could research one on Amazon. I found this one for half the price, had all amazing and great reviews and I ordered it. It JUST arrived 30 minutes ago. I was praying it had a charge on it and it did, so I am hooked up, having THE BEST TENS massage of my LIFE.

    OK, here’s the PROS:
    – Dual channel. Just saw that now. LOL.
    – Rechargeable. GREAT! No crying when your batteries die and you just realized it’s 2 a.m. and all the stores are
closed because you are OUT of AAA’s
    – Nice satin pouch to store everything in so it makes it easy for carrying around.
    – USB charging cable included, although ANY USB 2.0 cable will do so if you lose it, it’s nice they’ve made it
    universal
    – Each set of pads comes with their own little zip-loc bag so will keep the sticky pad from drying out.
    – Three sets of cords – one is a dual pads (4) and the other two are single (2)
    – In comparison to Dr. Ho, this little machine is a little over half the size, has SIX options instead of three (like
FEET, which my husband moans and groans every time I ask him to rub my feet.
    – It’s HALF the price too! To get a comparable Dr. Ho upgraded machine, you’re into a couple hundred of bucks.
    – Replacement pads are cheap and universal (like it ALL should be).
    – When I used the Dr. Ho, JUST when the “good feeling” from the pressure began, POOF! The signal ended. This
one is MUCH longer so you feel that AHHHH, it stays on a few seconds longer, THEN it lets go. Proper signal
    length.

Cons: Should come in a hard case like their other one. All their TENS machines should come in a hard case so if you throw it in your bag, you don’t have to worry about damage. I can go get a hard pencil case from the dollar store.

If you have pain, buy this one. I have no regrets.

The unit works great. Love the amount of pads you can actually connect to the unit. It has been a blessing for an aching back. Small in size big in effect.

  10. S. Lee

I’d strongly recommend reading the net to better understand how this works and the principals behind the idea… I had some muscles injury in my back area. The first attempts using it didn’t do any good. Then, after reading about it, i tried to use it differently and on higher intensity. I can say it helped.
Then, i had a calf injury, i used it again with hope that it will help. It actually helped VERY WELL. I am amazed that with couple sessions my muscles stopped hurting. Just magically nice.
The device is made from the common cheap plastic. Expected from the price paid. The battery life is amazing with the small size device. I had to charge it only once.
The pads are not very user friendly. Shaving the application area and adding some water definitely helps.

  11. Joy

Had a set before I bought this one. It works to relive the pain.

  12. thomas

Love the product. I’ve bought other types in the past but this is better. The battery life has been pretty good and the power/vibration output to the muscles has been great. The durability seems a little low but you shouldn’t be rough while using these anyway. It’s easy to use and helps with some sore muscles. I recommend it for a after-workout relaxation or to help pump up specific muscles that are hard to excercise. It doesn’t have the setting I was looking for but the 24 built in are pretty good. Size wise it’s pretty compact and easily can be slipped into a pocket

  13. Chelsea

Purchased at the recommendation of my Physiotherapist. Very powerful, many modes that are meant to serve different purposes (refer to manual), great price. Battery life seems great, and very mobile due to compact size of device. Happy with this purchase.
