I’ve tried so many pet hair removing gadgets n nothing was effective like this simple yet effective tool.

So easy to use and to clean. I use short rolling strokes like others recommended and it picks up all kinds of cat hair off the bedspread, the sofa, you name it. Love this thing!!! Worth every penny.

I can’t stand wasting money or the paper on those lint rollers from the dollar store. I’m trying to be more environmentally friendly and this works for me. I was skeptical but it’s doing a good job picking up the fur. I attached the video to show you the gripping of it. It’s like Velcro that the fur sticks to.

Build quality is excellent. It works!
Short strokes on an area catches all those loose fur on the sofa.
Works well on removing fur and lint from fabric.

This hair removal for pets is very good easy to clean. Color is good softness. I like to suggest anybody have pets home buy it and try it. It’s worth it.

No matter how thoroughly I vacuumed I could never get all the pet hair out of my living room rug. This did the trick! If you’re willing to put in a little elbow grease (and move around on your hands and knees lol) this can make a huge difference! It works well on short-medium rug/carpet. I also tried it on our cat towers and while it picked up the hair it didn’t trap it as well as it trapped hair when used on the carpet for whatever reason.

It works and it’s easy. My dog has long guard hairs with a thick undercoat and sleeps in my bed. Getting the hair off the duvet has always been a job I dislike. Unlike the others I looked at the Black and Decker rolls both ways so it’s twice as fast. And it’s simple to empty.

Works great on furniture that is a cat hair magnet! Works great on bedspread! Faster than hauling out the vaccum every time. Very pleased!

I moved in with my daughter and her family to a very large house. There are three cats and a non shedding dog. My bedding is black and for some reason – although I am definitely NOT a cat person, all three cats adopted my room as there ground zero. I bought them a very nice cat tower that was in my daughter’s living room but we figured out a better placement was my bedroom. They use it – a lot. But what they use most is my bed, on my black bedding. I struggled for a year using the tear off lint rollers, tearing off sheet after sheet before the job was done – only to have to start the same process the next day. My daughter had another brand of roller and in desperation I used it one day and found it so much more effective than the sticky rolls. I ordered the Black and Decker version, mainly because of price. It works exceedingly well, way beyond what I had hoped for and a quick once over (well maybe not so quick – I have a king sized bed) leaves the cover its pristine black. Of course, it doesn’t last long, a clean bed is a magnet, especially to the long haired cat, and the job starts over.
This roller is SO much better than the ‘stickies’ and does an equal, if not better, than the top brand. I am beyond pleased with the results. It seems sturdy and is very easy to clean out after each use.

I have a black coat I wear a lot. I visited my friend’s house. My friend has a very cute and friendly long haired large dog and I made the mistake of cuddling with it while wearing my black coat. I tried lint rollers and dry cleaners to get rid of the fur left behind, but nothing worked as well as this product. If used correctly – small back and forth motions instead of long singular glides – it works amazingly. I was able to pick up all the hair off the coat, including my own. The chamber that holds the hair is super useful for disposal and cleaning up of the hair off the brush. But this and never waste money on lint rollers again.

I am not sure who owns the original patents on all of these similar and useful hair/lint removal tools, but there seems to be many companies that make different versions of this same exact product at various price levels. For instance, I also own the “Chom Chom” version of this hair/lint removal tool, and it works very well. However, there are certain aspects of this Black & Decker hair/lint removal tool that make it even better than the Chom Chom, and other similar products like it, including the much lower price.
Also, as is true with the Chom Chom hair/lint removal tool, this B&D version also works as advertised IF it is used correctly. We mainly use this B&D hair/lint removal tool to clean up the hair left on the bed and furniture by our constantly shedding Sable German Shepherd. It does indeed work really well for that purpose. This B&D hair/lint removal tool also picks up little pieces of lint off of the furniture very well. However, just like the Chom Chom, this B&D hair/lint removal tool is NOT going to vacuum the entire house by itself, so don’t expect miracles from it either.
This B&D hair/lint removal tool is designed to be used in short back and forth strokes, and not long rolling motions, as the hair collector bar does not turn 360 degrees (it flips back and forth). The hair collector pads are designed to collect hair and lint by building up static electricity through friction, and then the squeegee deposits the hair and lint into the easy to empty storage compartment. If this B&D hair/lint removal tool is used in one long continuous direction/motion it will not work correctly, and I am quite sure that is where the few negative reviews are coming from.
Also, as specifically stated in the included instructions, this B&D hair/lint removal tool is NOT designed to be used directly on humans or pets. It is not a sticky clothing lint roller or a dog/cat brush. The instructions also specifically state that this B&D hair/lint removal tool will not work on hard or smooth services. It needs some friction from rough furniture material in order to build up static electricity on the cleaning pads. As I previously stated, this B&D hair/lint removal tool does work very well IF it used as directed. Just don’t use it for unintended purposes, and then leave a bad review because the instructions were ignored or not read at all.
In two separate reviews, I am giving this B&D hair/lint removal tool 5 stars, while I previously gave the Chom Chom 4 stars, for several reasons. While both devices do work well, and in the exact same way, this B&D hair/lint removal tool seems to have addressed all of the short-comings that plague the Chom Chom. This B&D hair/lint removal tool has a thicker ergonomic handle, which makes it more comfortable to use. It also has an opaque purple storage compartment cover, which allows the user to tell when it’s getting full. Also, this B&D hair/lint removal tool has a much more secure latch on the storage compartment door, so the door does not inadvertently pop open during use like the door on the Chom Chom does quite often. However, the best aspect of this B&D hair/lint roller tool is that it is nearly half the price of the Chom Chom, and many other devices just like it.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this B&D hair/lint removal tool, as it does work very well for cleaning pet hair and lint as advertised, IF it is actually used correctly. The lower price makes it even better than the other products in this category that work just like it. For those people that have constantly shedding pets, I suggest picking up a few of these great B&D hair/lint removal tools to keep around the house and car.

I don’t normally write product reviews, but I was so impressed with this hair remover that I had to! It works exactly as advertised and works incredibly well.
I’ve used lint rollers in the past that are that same grabby kind of material, but they were always such a pain to use. Because you’re able to roll this back and forth, it’s so much easier. And I love the fact that it takes the hair off the brush for you and collects it in the reservoir! It makes an annoying task so much easier, and speaking as someone that lives in a house with 4 cats, that’s saying something!
