Great product. I have had two in situ for the past 10 weeks to keep my lab puppy safe in an open plan house with larger than average openings. The only problem at the moment is she fits through the cat flap. She looks too big but just glides on through. No problem for me as the cat is terrified of her anyway so won’t go near the gate yet. As she gets bigger they will be invaluable. She tries everything in her power to jump up and get over it but just can’t do it provided you lock the red clip in place. If I don’t lock it down she can jump up and open it and escape. As I said they have been there for 10 weeks between lounge and kitchen and are as firmly locked in place today as when we fitted them without any adjustments. They are strong and easy to use. Highly recommended. A life saver of a product with a puppy.

We now have cat-friendly pass-though zones that keep me from yelling at the dogs for eating the cats’ food! These gates look good, set up quickly (if you read the instructions, and follow them completely!!) and truly do work exceptionally well. I purchased the extra wide gates because my hallway and kitchen entrance are not normal sized openings. I did have to add a 1x1x30″ piece of wood to the hallway wall because it is so wide, but even without securing that wood with screws it is firmly held in place by the pressure of the gate’s screw mechanisms.

The gate works perfectly fine, easy to install. No issues there. The only problem is that my toddler has figured out how to climb up on the cat door lol. Luckily she hasn’t managed to escape that way yet, but she can also squeeze through the cat door if it’s left open and escape that way. She can’t open the cat door herself yet, so she’s still secure as long as I keep it closed. But that means I’m not able to use the cat door function, which kind of defeats the purpose of buying a gate like this. So be warned, if you have a crafty escape artist toddler like mine, this may not be the best option for you.
Other than not exactly being toddler-proof, I have no complaints about this gate. The door opens nice and wide so adults can easily pass through, the height is perfectly adequate and keeps my roommate’s 90 lb Rottweiler out of my room. The gate is stable when installed correctly and holds up to my child shaking the bars like she’s an Alcatraz prisoner.
Overall a solid purchase that will last me at least a few more weeks before the tiny escapee figures out how to vault over the top. 🤷🏻♀️

Genuinely can’t believe these can’t be bought in Australia, what a game changer!
Keeps the kids out of the laundry area where the cat litter is and gives the cats a safe place to eat where they can’t be terrorised by a toddler who loves them.

This is a great gate…I installed it in a second, and needed little in the way of instruction (though instructions are included).
More than anything else, it’s more attractive than I typically find in this kind of product — and this comes from a guy who built a barrier out of a large cardboard box. The clean, white steel gate is shiny and modern, with a nice visual line to it. It opens easily, and while the clasp at the top looks like the plastic that it is, it too fits it the product visually. It’s got a very bright, appealing look, and I’m really pleased with it.
I can attest to the worth of the cat door, as well: my cats figured it out in a skinny minute (though “skinny” is probably the last adjective I should have used), and it appears none of my three Corgis can fit through, which is a real relief. The door opens smoothly and shuts just as easily, and it has been a big success here at the house.
The door comes with two extensions…one for each side (one 6″, the other 4″), which allow it to extend its size to accommodate doorways from 29 to 44 inches. I did not have to use them, but I can tell the construction is as attractive and clean and easy to install as the main gate.
All in all, a very well-made product. I was impressed with it. And if you have Prime, it comes (with shipping and handling included) for an astonishingly low total of $38.96 at the time of writing this review.
My only (minor) negative is that it would be really nice if the smaller cat gate came with a way to “lock out” the latch. As it is, the latch has a spring that means its tip is always extended outward. It’s not a big problem, as I said, but this means that the door swings open one way only, and the cats must pull the door toward them when they are on one side of it, and push it when they’re on the other. On my porch I have a cat gate that swings both ways, but comes to rest at the center due to twin magnets in the door and its frame. There IS a latch, but it can be locked in or out.
Other than that, a perfect product! Within days of ordering it I ordered another one… Yep, to take the place of my cardboard one.

I purchased 3 of these gates after bringing home a Potbelly Pig who recently lost her owner. I live in an older home w narrow doorways, have cats & an older dog. If you’re searching for an affordable gate that does its job, this is it. I needed a gate that could safely let my cats come & go without having to jump while also keeping my senior dog safe as my pig adjusted to her new home- she’s about 150lbs & has not pushed through these gates! Easy install & yes, you will have holes in your doorframes that can easily be puttied if you move them. They’ve stood up for what I needed & love that they’ve kept everyone safe. The only issue I truly have is the cat doors do not open flush against the gate & you can trip on them if you’re not paying attention but small bungee cords work well in holding the cat doors open to prevent this 🙂

The size was almost too small for my needs but the extra piece that came with it for bigger spaces made it too big for the hallway. 😂 luckily I got the gate to work. I just had to tighten the screw things all the way to get it to tighten to the wall. I’m SO glad it fit. I needed a gate with a small door for my little dog. He’s 18pounds & can fit through the mini door but his bit seemed to smack the top every time he goes through and it scares him. I’m hoping once he gets used to it he can somehow go through slower and that won’t happen. It seems they have made the mini door smaller because one review showed a husky that fit through but ain’t no way a husky would fit through now. They had to of made the mini door smaller since my 18point dog barely fits through.
The gate does not auto close, you have to close it. However if you tighten the gate a certain way you can make it to where you can shut the gate without having to touch the button. You can just swing the door and it will catch at the part where it locks. It’s sturdy and nice. No damage. Easy to assemble and put up. Easy to move if needed. Great for babies or dogs. Very helpful. The height is shorter than my old gate but still a good height. My German Shepard doesn’t even try going over it. I highly recommend. Great value too.
