It does actually say on the can that there’s no skittles in the product. The fact that it’s just generic skittles flavour too is a little bit of a red flag. It just generally tastes sweet and vaguely berry/fruity flavoured.
This being said, I love C4 energy drinks and always enjoy trying a new flavour to keep me going through a long shift and found this to be a fun one to enjoy. People frequently were interested and asking me about this at work so I think it markets itself well.
I think if it’s on a reduced price it’s probably worth a purchase and try.

I bought this to use as a Pre-workout and I was not disappointed. First of all the taste is great. It provides me with clean energy without jitters during my workouts. I sip on one can from 6am to 730am when my workout starts. Great quality and no sugar. I will definitely buy again.

The product has a high quality, and it is nice to have the caffeine and B12 without getting completely slammed by overwhelming sweet flavor. Being an energy drink I thought that I would get the typically medicinal taste that I have gradually come to enjoy, but the only thing you can taste is the Starburst flavoring.
Just a warning, it does contain 200mg of caffeine. The taste makes them easy to drink but it really isn’t something you should drink more than one of in a day. It is nice to have an energy drink that doesn’t give the Niacin flush like so many of the others do. Will buy more.

These were cheaper than Monster and figured I’d give them a try. They certainly work, and maybe even better than Monster, as it takes me 2 Monsters to feel anything, but one can of C4 had me covered for a whole 8 hour shift and 2 hrs on the road.
The taste is not so bad. If you’re already used to sugar free energy drinks, you already know it’ll have a sort of off after taste you need to get used to. This Satrburst flavor is true to the candy, but the aftertaste is a little medicinal. But after a couple sips, you look past it.
But the only peculiar thing about this drink is the itchy, pins and needles sensation it riddles your body with. Just sitting idly, I feel it. And when startled (ex: by a car suddenly hitting the breaks), the pins are felt in overdrive. It’s really unpleasant, as it feels like I’m wearing itchy clothes, and I begin sweating. Hopefully I can get used to it. But all in all I’m sticking to Monster.
