This was not painful to put together but it was tedious. The legs are in the way for storing it but do fold a little. On a positive note it does deflect heat well.

I purchased this heat deflector for my Solo Stove Bonfire. It fits perfect and the legs fold up after it is used. The deflector pushes heat out approximately 3-4 feet horizontally from the stove. I like the fact that the metal clamp attaches to the stove and holds the deflector onto the stove securely. The only negative I have to say is the top is sharp. It cut my sons leg when he ran into it when it was sitting in my garage unused. When disassembling wear gloves or just know that you are going to have to wash your hands from all the soot on the bottom where the carry handle is located. Overall I would purchase again. This was the only heat deflector I saw that would securely attach to the stove on Amazon. If you have a solo stove this heat deflector is a must have.

I would never shell out what Solo Stove is asking for their OEM heat deflector. This one is incredibly convenient! I love the folding legs, it makes it so easy to pack away. Make sure you really tighten the screws down

Seems solid, but the leg slot for the hold-down clamp is about 3/8″ too high to engage.

We’ve only used this twice on the bonfire but, it seems to distribute the heat laterally quite well. Assembly was straight forward. Not sure about longevity although it seems well constructed.
