Onboarding a new employee and outfitting them with tools to accomplish their task is important. This is a great product for the work its designed to do. Quality at a great price.

Great quality for the price. Recommend for occasional use or carry with in your vehicle or household.

Concept is great…quality not so much. I needed a good set of magnetics as I’m aging and drop little things more than I like. But the magnetism in these is nearly zero. And the Phillips Heads have already stripped off.

Seems to be good quality used them to put in a furnace and none stripped out.

This is a cheap set and so long as I use it accordingly it has been amazing to use. It is better looking then what I could get at HF. I work as a farm mechanic working on 1950’s tractors, isuzu/mazda trucks, ford’s up to 60’s clark front end loaders… basically anything built between 1945 and 2015 that is a truck, pickup, tractor or piece of equipment with almost a half split of SAE and METRIC. This kit has in some way come in handy with all of it. So long as I remember the limitations and what it can and can’t do it’s a little super star that has surpringsly has my boss impressed who has even said a couple times “Why didn’t you grab your yellow box?” But if I used it like an expensive tool yah the flaws come out. I snapped half the bar off the 10mm with the included ratchet but now it won’t lock into a an electric bit driver but it still works just fine. So if you know what you are doing and how to Guage where it shines these are worth the money.

First and foremost, this product is absolutely worth the purchase. The first thing that struck me was the heft and the overall mass of the kit. Picking it up for the first time gave me the immediate impression that this was a solidly built kit. Opening it up and inspecting the individual pierces didn’t do much to deter that feeling. These bits just feel solid in the hand, especially the nut setters, which is why I purchased the kit in the first place. Overall I am very satisfied with the kit.
As I said, I was looking for a cheap set of magnetic nut setters. They’re not something I’m going to need everyday, but do have a need for them from time to time so I wasn’t looking to find something earth shattering. Amazon, here I come. Scrolling through the many nut setter sets I fell upon this kit that had all the setters I was looking. It also comes with a selection of bits and extensions as well as 1/4”, 3/8”, and 1/2” drive socket adapters (impact rated). Plus a cute little bit driver. For $20 I thought WTH I’ll give it a shot and was instantly struck by how solid everything feels in the hand. The pieces of the set themselves I give 5 stars for the price I paid. That being said;
I did have to return the first one I received as the “hinge” on the case was broken rendering it unable to open and close properly. The case is simply poorly built and will not stand up to any kind of real abuse. I’m ok with that as it’s going to sit on a shelf until the few times come that I need it and I’m sure it can handle that. However I would doubt it’s ability to withstand a fall. Even heavy use, opening it closing it repeatedly, will wear it out very quickly as the hinge is simply a solid piece of blow molded plastic (see pictures I took). This IS something to consider if you’re planning on using it daily either be very careful or have an alternate storage method. It does hold the pieces well however, so at least it does that. I also found a bit of worksmanship issues in the T5-T-8 torx bits, mainly in the T-5 and it gets better the bigger they get. By T-9 it’s all sorted out. I do not believe it will harm its hold of the fastener too much and I find these types of flaws are very common for the smallest Torx bits no matter who makes them. With that, I definitely think this is worth the buy.
All said and done I have not put this product under heavy use and likely never will so I cannot speak on its longevity and durability. I do have quite a bit of experience with tools and my feeling is that this is more than solid for my use and is worth the purchase for anyone at all. For everyday use I would question some of the bits and I would automatically rule out the case. Much of everything else I think will hold up. The setters are solid as well as all of the bit holders and socket adapters even the bit driver. If you’re just going to use this from time to time, you should definitely make this buy. If something catastrophic occurs I’ll update this accordingly but as of this review, I would recommend to anyone who reads this to go ahead and put it your shopping cart. The pieces get 5 stars the case gets 2 (I’d give it a 1 but it DOES hold the stuff…)
