  1. Ajin

I wanted to use this on my back but because of the where the controls are located it’s impossible to get to them. This is a problem because It actually packs a powerful shock, that hurts. I had to get help from my husband to help remove it. I won’t use it again, not on my back anyway. Great concept but not for the back.

  2. Can or Cannot

I have cupping therapy devices and I have Tens/EMS devices, but this one combines the two. If you have a single area (or a small number of them to do consecutively), then it can make sense. Some cupping devices have red light in them so why not one that does electrical stimulation?

Unfortunately, this isn’t a good version of such a product. The cupping part simply does not work. The product powered up no problem but I could not create any suction. I read the entire manual and followed the instructions but couldn’t get it to work. The manual implied the problem was insufficient charge on the battery so I charged it up but it still didn’t work.

Then I looked again at the card insert in the box and lo and behold, you’re supposed to wet the edges of the device, where it touches the skin. So that’s what the tiny spray bottle is for! It’s not mentioned in the manual. The card also says you can wet it with “essential oil” but I don’t think they realize that essential oils are super concentrated and you’d never want to use that much. Maybe they meant to say EO mixed with carrier oil.

So I wet the silicone ring that touches the skin and…no suction.

I was able to get the tens/EMS to work. Once the unit is on you push quickly on the on/off button and it will switch modes. There are 5 of them. What’s the difference? Well when you push the button to arrive on a mode it will beep at you the number of times that matches the number of the mode. And they feel different. But they do not have names or suggested uses. They just exist. There’s nothing in the manual, in additional materials, on the box, or on the listing page.

The other problem is you can’t use this if you need to put it someplace you can’t see. The buttons are slightly raised but there are 3 of them in a row and they are identical. In fact, even if you’re looking, you can barely see the silver on light-blue icons that tell you the middle one is on/off, the left is + and the right is -. To get the mode to work you have to start the mode then hit the + button. There is no feedback as to the intensity level you’re on.

But since the vacuum doesn’t work, it doesn’t matter if the buttons are usable by touch because you have to hold the unit on to your body anyway.

    So good idea, poor execution.

This review is for CXGRISE Electric Cupping Therapy Massager, Silicone Vacuum Cupping Massager for Targeted Relief Muscle

I was able to get this to work briefly, with little to no results. It is nearly impossible to get it to work properly. The buttons are difficult to operate while attempting to engage the cup. Switching between modes is a guess work crap shoot at best. I have used other cupping massagers with great results, this one is just too difficult to operate and results aren’t great when you finally get it going. I’d pass on this one.

This cupping device Doesn’t work anywhere remotely close to what the product ad states it’s suppose to! The design and build is extremely cheap and Doesn’t provide any type of legit cupping whatsoever. It Doesn’t leave behind any red rings like good cupping devices do. The red rings that are normally formed indicate good blood flow/circulation, this device doesn’t have anywhere close to enough power in order to create red rings on your skin!

The device has 5 modes which all Feel the Same Exact Same Way, STING my Skin!! I can’t feel any type of “Rubbing”, “Kneading”, “ Pounding”, “Tapping”, or “Pressing”, which are the Five “mode types”! It has 16 levels of intensity, but the only way to feel Any Meaningful Level of Intensity is to keep tapping the Plus tab until level 10 or higher and all I experienced at that level was annoying stinging! I used the included spray bottle with water as instructed and found it Didn’t help the cupping device to seal and create anywhere close to enough pressure/seal! I also tried conductivity gel as instructed and it didn’t help form a seal/pressure either!

At this price point and lower there’s a Lot better options out there when it comes to cupping! I’m Not new to cupping, manual or electric and have reviewed several dozen cupping devices. I will say, charging was fast with this cupping device and a charging cable is included but no power brick. I DON’T recommend this product!

While I’m not 100% sold on the benefits of cupping therapy, I’m willing to try most therapeutic methods and this looked interesting.

Works well with a mini vac pump and provided cup.

Sticks as well as the ones at the professional place and has good suction.

In theory, yes, there should be some benefit, but I will not make claims I’ can’t back up without a ream of research, so for now I will say just do what feels good and makes you feel better. If cupping is your thing, this is an easy unit to use and easy to get started.

  6. PragmaticScholar

It’s basically a cross between cupping and a TENS unit. It isn’t too hard to get the cup to suction on and the massage modes were surprisingly effective – I didn’t think they’d do much, but I did actually get some muscle movement/relaxation going. Pressing the buttons is a little tricky if you are using it on yourself somewhere you can’t see, like the back or shoulders, but it’s doable as long as you feel around to figure out where the left/right/middle are. Note that the suction itself isn’t automated, so if you have trouble getting regular suction cups to stick, this fancy doohickey isn’t going to adhere any better; it just provides added massage modes.
There’s a 10-minute auto-off; you should move the cup position after that so it doesn’t bruise. Charging is very simple, it’s a C-to-USB charger (provided in the set) that can be plugged into any USB connector including a computer. They also provide a really tiny spray bottle for wetting the cup, as explained in the manual. I wouldn’t call this a must-have, but it does have its uses.
