My fiancee, the gardener between the two of us, has been working in the yard with her trust block of wood as a seat when she needs to get down and weed or plant stuff. We’ve laughed about it, but never really though about upgrading, it worked well enough. Then I saw this garden seat and realized how much better and more comfortable her gardening and weeding could be.
Putting it together wasn’t too hard, it’s just some bolts and when assembled it is quite sturdy, even I felt comfortable sitting on it and using it. The side pouches are also handy to keep your tools organized, no more looking for that spade that’s suddenly camoflauged into the side of the hill. Just a great quality of life upgrade for the gardener in your life.

This will be replacing my mother in law’s ‘bucket’ seat when she gardens this year. She can use it to stand, sit and help her get up. It went together easily and comes with everything needed.

LOVE love this! I’ve been wanting one of these since I borrowed my neighbors’ several months ago, and saw this. Perfectly simple with the ability to turn it up or down depending on the yard chore. I like that the pockets are easily removeable, and not sure I’ll use them, but we’ll see.
The assembly was easy enough, and intuitive, but did take a good 10 minutes. You really do need two hands to turn the screws and nut – one hand holding the “wrench” on one side and the Allen wrench on the other side at the same time.

Gardening requires lots of kneeling down and using one’s hands close to the earth, but using kneepads are a hassle and uncomfortable (esp. in summer), and cushions are okay, but they don’t help on the ‘getting up’ part.
This little weatherproof welded steel bench helps you stand up – which is a great benefit (esp. the older you get!). I’m heavy enough to tip over a water heater and yet these little handles didn’t want to move when I used my arms to help push myself up into a standing position. This is a sweet benefit, making me much more likely to do chores that require kneeling into the dirt (which I want to do for my garden’s benefit).
Assembly requires inserting eight bolts with nuts (provided with basic tools included), which is fussy but once you assemble it together – and really tighten them – it’s strong and easily body weight bearing. I’m six feet tall and it helped me stand up, making a quick ground cleanup easier and more pleasant, given the bending, kneeling and crawling involved.
This is a great gift for any gardener, and if you want to take some of the pain out of gardening, it’s a great gift for yourself.

The FEED GARDEN Garden Kneeler and Seat came in handy sooner than I expected. Living in a region with cold winters, I didn’t anticipate using it until the gardening season. However, I found an ingenious use for it while bathing my dog. Usually, I would kneel by the edge of the bathtub, layering several bath towels to cushion my knees, which are more arthritic than I care to admit.
This time, I remembered the kneeler, still in its box. It was quick and easy to assemble with the included instruction sheet and hardware. Using it during my dog’s bath made a world of difference. The wide, cushioned pad provided excellent support, making the task more comfortable and reducing strain on my joints. The sides provide the perfect support when standing back up.
The garden kneeler is sturdy, able to withstand a weight of 350 lbs. The cushion is firm but not rigid, providing enough “give” to cushion my knees. It worked impressively well. Although I did not make use of the tool pouches on this particular day, they are very well made. Their material is thick, with deep pockets to hold gardening tools, gloves, even a water bottle. As someone who sews and quilts, I always check the quality of stitching, and the tool pouches do not disappoint as far as the seams.
The FEED GARDEN Garden Kneeler and Seat is a fantastic addition to my household, proving to be useful in ways I hadn’t initially considered. I look forward to utilizing it in my garden once the weather improves. Its versatility, sturdiness, and thoughtful design make it a worthwhile investment for any home and garden enthusiast.
