The package seemed undamaged but the oil leaked in the bubblewrap. The must be broken glass in the oil so it is not safe to use. And cannot return it. Don’t buy this.

If you don’t know olives and haven’t worked in the olive business, you might assume that what passes for Olive Oil in most parts of the world is Olive Oil. It’s not.
Olives are a very life-giving plant. The fruit and fruit oil and leaf oil are fantastic. Kalamata is the best variety of Olive Oil, being the most useful at scrubbing the body of toxic fat and oil, and giving the best nutrients. I speak from decades of personal experience in medicine and health.
In Greece, there is real Olive Oil thick as grease, and it’s very beneficial. Olive oil in other parts of the world is literally watered down by one third to one half. They call this the Olive Oil Mafia, so they can make more money selling more bottles.
I recommend il nuovo, fresh, unfiltered Olive Oil, Olive Leaf Oil, and other pure products from the Olive tree.
This product is good. Could be better, darker, greener, with more content.

I’ve used this brand for several years now and it is simply the best tasting kalamata oil I have ever used. I know a lot of people prefer the peppery taste of Italian olive oils but I’ve always preferred the more gentle, warm taste/flavor of Greek kalamata oils or Spanish oils that are harvested later in the season and this particular brand makes a wonderful oil. The flavor is clear and clean. Good quality.
