As a senior, it’s harder and harder to kneel and, especially, to get up off the floor or ground. This Kneelie is just perfect – it’s strong and durable. The knee padding is great (although for extended periods I add a pad), and the handles are great for getting up. The seat is good also, I did not opt for the padding but I will say I wish I had, because it can get a little slippery and that padding would give it some grip.
Assembly is easy, and the design makes it very sturdy. I feel this is much better than the vast amount of folding seats, many of which are downrated for the flimsy metal. Folding is not a necessity to me, I would rather have something strong and durable. The orientation of the metal channel (at 45 degrees) for the legs is a clear indication of good engineering – it’s not going to bend in normal use.
Thinking of getting a second one as both of us like it!

Although pricey, this product is well worth it if stability is important. My primary use is for kneeling while performing sprinkler repairs which can sometimes require substantial time digging and cutting roots from around PVC and sprinkler assemblies. The “arms” on each each side of the kneeler are high enough and strong enough to balance my weight when leaning into it under my armpit, giving me substantially more leverage to cut on a stubborn root or work through a tough dig. This technique also relieves some pressure on my lower back while working and the “arms” are absolutely perfect for support when going from a kneeling to a standing position. The knee pad thickness is acceptable, but I usually add more padding if it’s longer job. The seat aspect is very handy when I’m ready to take a breather. Just flip it over to relax for a few. I have not adhered the cushion to the seat as of yet, but it would not make contact with the ground when using as a kneeler. My weight is around 180 lbs and height is 5’8” and I feel like this product is heavy duty enough to last a very long time. I did my homework on multiple products out there as I had a special need, and this one fortunately, is a perfect fit! Well constructed and easy to assemble.

I recently have had 2 knee replacements and wanted a kneeler that I could use and get up easily. I have owned two other versions of a kneeler and this one is by far the best. Specifically it does make it easier to get up and down. Plus I am a large guy, 295 lbs and it holds me well.

This is a great product to keep in the closet for times when an older person needs to kneel or sit low. I initially bought it to paint my baseboards. I use is several times a month for other chores.

My wife loves it for gardening. When she’s not looking, I use it when working in my shop. I love the high quality aluminum/plastic/SS construction. No worries about rust for sure.

The seat is great, but the rods to hold the tool bucket up with were not cut to the same length. To make it worse, the directions say that pushing them in might be hard and you have to force them through a pocket in the bottom of the tool holder. Well no amount of force is going to get something that is too long to work. Luckily a hack saw took care of the problem.

Easy (and fun) to assemble. Very sturdy and secure. Glad I ordered the model with the extra tush cushion! I anticipate years of garden use with this Kneelie.

It’s strong and the right size to make gardening (and other activities involving kneeling) comfortable and easy on the knees when getting up and down. I particularly like that is lighter weight than the heavier all-steel versions I’ve used and less susceptible to corrosion (I am near the ocean).
