  1. Skoog

I currently have 13 drill drivers in service in my shop and garage, and 4 of them are these Makita’s, or the previous model. So that probably tells you something about whether I like them. They charge quickly and provide reasonable torque. They fit well in my hand. I’m not a big guy, about 5’8″, and these are perfect. Observations: I dropped one of these drill drivers off a 5′ ladder and it was dead — the light came on but not the drill. I took it apart far enough to know there is no way to access the innards for diagnosis. I also have another on which the chuck loosens as you drill, which is weird and annoying. Overall though, these Makita’s have provided, in some cases, decades of service and I think they are worth a look.

  2. Mark

I ordered this to replace a makita drill that lasted for over 10 years so I’m pretty happy with this brand. This one seems to work good, only complaint is that it had a little bit of a burnt wiring smell when I use it. It seems to be getting better now so hopefully it was just because it is new and that will go away. I have never had that on any other makita tools I’ve owned.

  3. Ideas brillantes

No cumplió con lo esperado le falta potencia

  4. H. F.

My first battery operated drill. Wish I’d bought this years ago. Nothing bad!

  5. HUGO

Made drilling into concrete easy. I have several 18v Makita tools, I am very pleased with their quality products.

  6. Tony Blas

reordered and this one works like it supposed to.

  7. Bobby T

I have owned dozens of Makita tools and never had one die this one. There is no way this is a quality product like a normal Makita. I used this for 4 months and used the hammer drill 1 time to drill in some concrete blocks. About the 5th block the hammer drill locked up and now will not work anymore.

  8. Fiftyohm

These drills and drivers are fantastic. I own a few sets. I finally wore one out, (drill), after many years. Bought the tool only, as I have a large stock of batteries. (Note here that the batteries have not changed in 10+years. Kudos to Makita!) But listen: Just ignore the nonsense warnings about third-party batteries. They work every bit as well, and last every bit as long as Makita batteries for 1/3 the price

  9. Denny P.

    Solid performer, superb quality.
