I bought this as a gift for someone. But I did take one of my batteries and tested, and it had a lot of power. I’ll be buying one for myself soon.

Got this drill for my dad and he loves it! Very powerful and holding up well!

Here is an update to my poor rating. It turns out the product was indeed new. It was purchased in “bulk” quantities and thus did not have the original shipping box. The big surprise was that this seller as well as Amazon itself are not authorized Milwaukee dealers or re-sellers so every Milwaukee tool sold on Amazon does not come with any warranty what so ever! I tried to have my drill serviced at an authorized service store and they refused to look at it. I also tried to e-repair it and the serial number was not allowed. It seems this dealer buys the tools from some un-named authorized dealer( presumably an off shore dealer) and the automatic one year factory warranty does not pass through when I bought it. I did not realize this until two months after purchase. The seller was adamant not to give me my money back. He did come up with some sort of convoluted plan for me to send the drill to him and he’d see if he could get it serviced through the dealer he purchased it from but there was no time table or costs discussed so I felt I would just lose it if I sent it to him. Amazon also declined to return my money because it had been over 30 days since purchase.

All in all, I’d not recommend purchasing any Milwaukee tools from any Amazon sellers because it will not come with a factory warranty of any kind.

Product came wrapped in plastic with no box. I used it for two months and it killed two of my batteries and
constantly stopped in the middle of drilling. I have turned the “auto stop” off. I had a previous model that lasted for 5 years and thought I’d upgrade to brushless. It didn’t say refurbished but I do not think it was a new unit. It was $25 less than all of the other offers, for the same item on Amazon but as usual, if it is too good to be true, then it probably isn’t. Too late to return. Don’t buy from this vendor!

Got this after the yellow one I had locked up drilling with a 2 1/2″ hole saw. Admitting it was more than it was probably rated for. This drill is a beast, finished drilling the rest of the holes with no issue. Had to install the side handle because when the bit jammed it really torqued my wrist. The one issue which in no way is an issue with the drill but something to keep in mind is the battery. I was using a battery that came with my impact driver a CP2.0 standard battery. While it did the job (barely) when I tried to run the drill at full speed it would chatter because the battery couldn’t supply enough power. Wondering of it was the tool or battery I put on a high demand 9.0 from my saw and the issue disappeared. I have now purchased a CP3.0 High output battery for the drill (yet to try it). The kit comes with XC5.0 so I would assume the XC series would be fine also.
