After looking for the best all around EVOO for over a year, I came across this. The polyphenol count was astonishing and the taste was refreshing. I turn 75 this year and was determined to lower my weight (at the time of my first purchase, I weighed 175), and I wanted to walk 3 miles per day. Of course eating common sense was important too. Every morning, I have taken 3 tablespoons of PJ Kabos EVOO two hours before breakfast. As of this writing, I’m 158 lbs. and have never felt better. Even my skin is softer and blemishes have vanished.
I also cook this this oil, especially baked chicken and salmon. I believe in the low and slow baking method. Usually 325 degrees. This oil absolutely makes everything taste better with no exception.
To say I would recommend this would be an understatement.
The date of harvest is clearly marked on the bottle and it comes in a very beautiful, hardened glass bottle with an extremely tight corked bottle. I hate to discard the bottles because they are so ornate.
All in all, in my nonprofessional opinion, you won’t find a better Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
I hope you will read this review and try it. You won’t be disappointed.

Flavor much stronger than expected. I know everyone’s tastes are different and my experience may not apply for you, but I was disappointed in the bitterness. I was hoping for an oil I could use for dipping but way too strong for that.
Update: After using this oil for cooking I have changed my rating to a five. Even though the flavor is more robust than I expected, it is excellent for cooking. To be fair, the description does say “robust” so my lack of experience with good oils influenced my expectations. So far I’ve used it with pasta, ceviche, hummus, salad dressing, salisbury steaks, focaccia bread, etc. and in each meal it co-mingles so well and really boosts the flavor. I think I will check out the medium flavor next. The customer service is beyond expectations and something you rarely see these days.

I recently tried PJ Kabos’ family reserve organic medium EVOO and loved it, so I decided to try to robust. It is yet again a wonderful olive oil that delivers on its promise of quality and freshness.
I wasn’t sure if I would like the stronger, more bitter taste that this one was reported to have, but it is quite good. The flavor has true character. The bitterness is but a backnote to a complex and robust olive taste unlike any other oil I have tried. This may be a bit much for some palates, but I find it phenomenal on bread and hummus. It would likely elevate a salad dressing as well. The health benefits are the icing on the cake, with over 700 mg of polyphenols. A phenomenal amount. This not only makes PJ Kabos a delicious brand of oil but one that will be a staple in my healthy diet going forward.

Had an olive oil that tasted like the green olives ( which I’m not a fan of ) This olive oil is really good . I take a tlbs. of it a couple of times a week before going to bed , and use it on salads . Really healthy and good Thank You .

The headline says it all. The bottle is a nice size and nice appearance. One of the best tasting I’ve tried.

I like that the oil has a High phenolic content. The flavor is very bold. Maybe a little too bold for me, but I’m using it along with a lighter olive oil and they blend very nicely together

P.J. KABOS has become a must-have in my daily routine. I take it as a phenolic shot every morning, and this is my third bottle—proof of how much I love this olive oil! It has that signature tingling sensation real extra virgin olive oil is supposed to have, which reassures me of its quality and potency.
What sets this brand apart is its consistency. I’ve tried more expensive brands, but I always come back to P.J. KABOS. It’s rich, smooth, and packed with phenolic compounds, making it an incredible choice for anyone focused on health and wellness.
I’ve been wanting to try their gold bottle for a while, but it’s been out of stock. That’s just a testament to how good this product is—people can’t get enough of it! For now, I’m sticking with this version, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Highly recommended!
