I gave this olive oil a try, which is imported from Italy. It is all extra virgin olive oil, which isn’t common due to many being mixed with “refined olive oil/oils”. It has the authentic taste and aroma of the olive oils you’d experience at a high class Italian restaurant. Simply superb.

I use a lot of extra virgin olive because it is very good for you. This is a huge bottle that lasts

  3. Deanna Langer

I order every month. It’s a great product. Good for cooking.

  4. JV Crane

This is the second time we have purchased. Flavor is exceptional, we used it on all non cooked olive oil applications, it is rich and delicious and a great deal! Highly recommended!

I’ve ordered this Colivita Premium Selection 64 oz olive oil before and just ordered it again because I like the taste better than my previous brands I’ve purchased at my local grocery store. I use this olive oil for salads and my daily routine of a drinking a shot of olive oil with lemon juice or apple cider vinegar every morning. Besides the taste, I like the fair price and super-fast shipping for the 64 oz jug. Cheers to your health!

Excellent taste & smell. We are subscribed to this olive oil for its affordability and quality. We use it for all our salads and pastas. Great value for your money.

I love the flavor profile of this olive oil, it is mild and nutty, a little bit of artichoke. It’s good quality and fresh and we buy it a lot. I will say that some of the reviewers who say this is bad quality because of the taste are just confused about olive oil – some types of olive oil ARE smack-you-in-the-face peppery, some are not. There are so many different types olives that can be pressed into oil, sometimes an oil is a blend of varietals, but anyways, the point is – it’s not bad olive oil just because they are used to one particular “olive oil” taste. I actually don’t like peppery olive oil, but I would never rate an olive oil as low quality or suggest to “try organic” because of that. I have tried organic, I have tried fresh, I’ve literally been in olive mills all around Provence in early November when the farmers take the olives from their trees and arrive at the mills with truck loads of olives to be freshly pressed into oil for their own private use, not for sale, and tried day old, two day old freshly pressed oil. Different olives taste differently.

I’ve bought this brand of olive oil before at the grocery store and consistently the price has always been the best. But equally as important are the following factors that are hard to find in a single brand and that I look for:
    1) Organic, if possible. This is a tough one if you are trying to get all the factors to mesh in one brand.
    2) First Cold Pressed- This means that the olive oil is being produced from the first not second or multiple pressings from the same crop. Better end product. Also the process itself must be extracted under cold conditions, no heating involved
    3) Extra Virgin- This means no chemicals were used in the extraction process and that it has no odor or flavor. It’s the best designation an olive oil can have.
    4) Dark Glass Bottle- This maintains the freshness of the oil so the light doesn’t affect its properties.

There are other factors but these are the main ones I look for. This brand doesn’t disappoint. Highly Recommended
