So far this has worked for what I need but I tend to have to pump it up each time I use it. I can’t get it to keep air in all the time. It doesn’t completely deflate between uses but it get a little flatter than what I would like. It is good quality but has that flaw.

It comes with a straw to inflate it but it’s impossible to keep the air in while you replace the straw with the plug. I must be delusional because I thought it would arrive as pictured…like any other Pilates ball I’ve seen in stores. This isn’t usable. I’ll be buying in store more often as this surprise DIY expectation keeps happening with shipped Amazon products.

I’ve seen review where people are having a hard time putting air and keeping this stretch out/wrinkle free (air escape when you try to put it the pin to keep the ball inflated) thus be giving few stars than what this product deserves.
This does not have the pump (i mean for the price, i would not expect it to come with it and it does not advertise that it does) This does come with a short tube which i guess you use to blow the air in. If this is the process you’ll use, i can just imagine that you’ll have a hard time putting enough air where it’s stretched out enough that even air escapes when you try to plug the hole, it’ll still be wrinkle free.
I happen to have manual air pump (black tube beside the ball) and that’s what i use. Material is good quality and works like how it is suppose to.
I tried to squeeze it several times between my thighs to see if the airplug will come off, it held and kept the ball’s shape.

I bought this as I have been injured for a year and a half. I needed to do some strength exercises. I use this ball to do single leg glute bridges to help strengthen my flutes. You may think as it’s a soft ball what use can it be. I can assure you it’s a main bit of my kit now. I use it a lot. I’m training for the Chicago marathon in October and I’m also doing the GNR next week. Not sure I’m fit enough for either has my training fell short due to the injury and rehab training. But I can tell you my injury is a hell of a lot better and just ran 18 miles yesterday. Great for rehab or none rehab training. I will continue to use this ball.

I like the material, the durability, size and there was no yucky smell. I found it super easy to blow up, took me less than a minute and it came with extra plugs which is nice. I like that it’s black and now I can start doing the ab exercises that were too hard for me without some support. It’s comfortable and cushy and I also like using it as a neck pillow when I’m laying on the floor doing stretches on my half foam roller and whatnot. So glad I snatched this up on sale.

The Straw is a little more difficult ro blow it up with, but not horrible. You just have to be quick about it getting the plug in when pulling the straw out. I have a hand pump that came with my big yoga ball, but it was too small for the hole, air came out as fast as I pumped it in. It was my intention to use that to pump it up with. I don’t need it to be to hard anyway. It needs to be flexible enough to press the back of my knee up against it so I can get my leg to straighten more doing my PT exercises. It works very well for the intended purpose. I will proboly be needing it long term, as I have considerable soft tissue damage in my knee that surgery won’t fix. Continuing PT exercises keep me moving.

My physiotherapist recommended this for the exercise. Fast shipping, easy to inflate with bicycle pump and attachment. Couple of extra pins are included.

The ball was fairly easy to blow up but required some coordination and very quick moves. It helps to have two people – one to put his finger on the whole while the other puts the plug in.
My physical therapy didn’t not require a strong ball, so I didn’t try standing on it to see how much weight it would hold. But it maintained its air and has a good texture on it. I’d recommend it.
