I purchased the ZOA Zero Sugar Energy Drinks, Variety Pack as a filler to my order to meet the $35 minimum for free shipping (I’m not a prime member and will avoid paying shipping costs if I can). I thought they were a good price to try them (and I think they were on sale too). My daughter and myself really liked the flavors and I appreciated the variety pack so we could try several flavors. For zero sugar I feel these are a good product, no weird aftertaste in my opinion. I purchased these again on another order, so that tells you that we like them!

When I bought these I was doing the 75 hard challenge. These are great flavor but after a while you get tired of the same flavor. Overall I would buy these again but not a big pack.

I was speculating about these, as I made the mistake of reading all the 1 star reviews.
I drink Sugar-Free Red Bull daily, and was looking for something different. I decided to try the Strawberry Watermelon. The flavor if this is… it’s like if you described to AI what strawberry and watermelon tastes like, and mention something about tea, this is the flavor it would come up with.
Not very descriptive, I know… the flavor isn’t bad. I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have guessed it to be strawberry or watermelon, but it’s definitely not bad. It kind of reminds me of the caffeinated strawberry drink you can get from Starbucks.
It’s carbonated, but not over the top (and not flatish, either).
It didn’t knock my socks off, but also, I like it, and like it more with each sip I take!
Plus, it gives a nice energy kick, which is the whole point of energy drinks 🙂

Alright, let’s talk energy drinks. I’ve tried a bunch of them, and Zoa energy drinks are definitely up there with the best. They’re packed with good stuff like vitamins, electrolytes, and amino acids, and they give me a solid energy boost without making me feel jittery. Plus, the flavors are pretty awesome – I mean, who doesn’t love a good Tropical Punch or Pineapple Coconut?
But here’s the thing – as much as I love Zoa for a midday pick-me-up, I still start my mornings with Yerba Magic. There’s just something about it that sets the tone for the day. Yerba Magic is this fantastic instant yerba mate drink that’s super easy to make. Just mix a scoop with water, and you’re good to go. No steeping, no fuss – perfect for my groggy, half-asleep self in the morning.
Yerba Magic has this refreshing peach mango flavor that’s a nice wake-up call. It’s packed with prebiotics and probiotics, so my gut feels great, and the energy boost is smooth and steady. I don’t get those annoying jitters or crashes, which is a huge win. It’s like all the benefits of traditional yerba mate without the hassle of brewing it. I usually get mine in less than two days when I order it off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D5YVMX9Q
Yerba Magic is loaded with prebiotics and probiotics, which are key players in maintaining a healthy digestive system. The prebiotics, like chicory inulin and apple fiber, help nourish the good bacteria in your gut, making them more effective. This, in turn, supports better digestion and overall gut health. Since I started drinking Yerba Magic, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in bloating and digestive discomfort.
So, my routine goes like this: I kick off the day with Yerba Magic to get my head straight and my energy flowing. Then, if I need an extra boost later in the day, I grab a Zoa. It’s the perfect combo – Yerba Magic keeps me focused and balanced in the morning, and Zoa gives me that extra push when I need it, especially during those afternoon slumps.
In short, Zoa energy drinks are fantastic, but Yerba Magic is my go-to for starting the day right. If you’re looking for a great way to boost your mornings and stay energized throughout the day, give this combo a try. You won’t be disappointed!

First off, I am sensitive to most energy drinks these days (i.e., monster, rockstar, bang, reign, etc.), and most of those have given me bad anxiety or panic attacks likely due to the ingredients and high level of caffeine (300mg). I was hesitant to want to try ZOA as i assumed it would be like any other energy drink I’ve had.
My findings:
Caffeine: it’s perfectly tolerable for me. The green tea coffee and green tea extract total out with “natural caffeine” at 160mg. The caffeine in here appears to be naturally sourced which metabolizes differently then normal lab (synthetic) produced high content caffeine like other major brands (which usually causes jitters, shakes, anxiety etc.) The synthetic caffeine also tends to give you a faster caffeine rush vs the more natural caffeine which is why you experience a crash.
I’ve found it to be a perfect mid-day pick-me-up, a perfect pre workout or even a good post workout to get you back on your feet after being tired. Best of all, i don’t experience a “crash” like I do on many other energy drinks. I don’t get the shakes, “rush” or crazy side effects I’ve felt with other energy drinks. This seems to be just the perfect amount of ingredients to be tolerable and also doesn’t include the things like ginseng, taurine and other junk. Zoa has the good balance of vitamins, the camu camu and turmeric extract.
Sugar: if you want to keep it simple then get the sugar version with normal sugar and it will keep you fuller, but then yes there is the sugar aspect to it. I prefer to stick to the artificial sweeteners and I’m personally okay with sucrolose but yes ace-k has been linked to its issues (cancer, Brian function, etc.). Personally if you are drinking energy drinks in the first place you can’t expect to have every ingredient be healthy anyway – i don’t think that’s reasonable with any energy drink. But the taste from the regular sugar and artificial sweeteners are great. I have nothing bad to say about them. It’s not stevia or monk fruit but at the end of the day they are all just sweetners.
Flavors: I’d rank them in this order: Pineapple Coconut, Tropical Punch, Orange, White Peach, Super Berry. I don’t care for original or lemon lime. But the first five… absolutely love them (I’m sure my picture of my fridge speaks for itself lol). Flavors are delicious and taste just as they are described. Some don’t like the flavor likely due to the sweetners, but they taste even better with regular sugar version.
Overall, ZOA is awesome IMO. Definitely recommend trying it if you’ve been hesitant.
