  1. Baazigar

This Olive oil is good for regular cooking and deep fry dishes.

People seem to be upset that this is not extra virgin. I have wonderful extra virgin olive oils that I don’t use for cooking. I’d rather use this than an oil like canola or a soy based oil.

  3. Karyann

Ok, this is by far the best cooking oil.

  4. Anthony Fulginiti

I don’t know what’s up with Bertolli. Maybe it has a study indicating people want light oil only. So apparently it has cut back on the second press (not extra virgin) in favor of 3rd and fourth presses. But this is the real thing. I have been using Bertolli for over 70 years and I was not be disappointed. Neither will you be. This is the right flavor, color and price. The old label might still be in use (in fact, the picture on Amazon is the old label, but when the product arrived it had a newer label marked “MILD.” That’s OK. “Mild” is the right adjective. But avoid anything that says “light” or “light tasting” IF you want regular second press oil. Very satisfied with the product. You will not be disappointed. This is especially true because I could not find it in any store in New Jersey. I found it on Long Island, before I found it on Amazon. Enjoy this Bertolli. The real deal!

  5. Jamie lee

Happy to find an olive oil made for cooking several different foods. The label says it all. Since taste varies try it.

  6. Linda

I have been using this product for many years. Will use it many more.

  7. Filippo Neri

Real Italians dons’t use cold-pressed virgin olive oils for cooking: they don’t stand the heat and may even be dangerous.

Instead use this hot-pressed cheap olive oil in the big plastic bottle. It works best for frying and sautéing, but, look, I even like it on salads when I want a more delicate taste.

  8. Marina Darr

I always buy! Nice price for Amazon! Maybe you’l put it on sale some of the time!
