  1. Ennice Reddick

Purchased due to hearing about health benefits. really good flavor and hoping to increase my good cholesterol level.

  2. S. Fowler

My personal favorite olive oil. bold. tastes like an olive. slightly bitter proves high poly phenol content.

  3. Essy use and easy install means everything.

I purchased two different bottles from the same distributor within two weeks. The first bottle’s name was “Les Terroirs,” which did not meet my expectations, and the solidification test failed. I tried to return it, but Amazon gave me credit. The second bottle was “Desert Miracle,” and it successfully passed the solidification test 100%. The taste and smell were great, and I’ve attached pictures showing the bottle before and after placing it in the refrigerator for a solidification test.
Before consuming the olive oil, the best way to test the purity of olive oil is to pour about 1/4 cup into a clear glass cup and place it in the refrigerator for 6 to 8 hours, or even overnight. After this time, the olive oil should solidify like butter, which indicates that it is pure olive oil. However, there is no guarantee that it hasn’t been mixed with rancid or old olive oil. NOTE: when you buy Olive oil please do the solidification test.

I despise olive oil. Or at least I thought I did. Now I don’t think I’ve ever had it before.

My husband has a problem with ear wax and has had to go to the doctor to have it removed many times. His doctor told me to buy him olive oil and to look for cold pressed and the word “polyphenols.”

I found this, the price wasn’t bad, and tonight we got it.

Out of curiosity I gave it a sniff, ready for that offending hit of ‘petroleum’ that usually assaults my nose when I go anywhere near olive oil. But this barely had a smell at all. The smell that was there was faint, but pleasant.

I’d read a bunch of the descriptive reviews before buying it and nothing anyone said was even vaguely familiar to what I knew as olive oil. “Slightly fruity…” “peppery aftertaste…”

My nose told me this was a good thing, so I poured some into a spoon. I stood there sniffing it suspiciously for too long, then geared up, and shoved it in my mouth.

    Oh. My. Dear. Lord.

Soft. A slight fruit flavor up front.

And I’ll be damned. There was that ‘peppery aftertaste’ that I have NEVER tasted before.

This stuff is ridiculously delicious! Suddenly it made sense that the Mediterranean people have dipped their bread in this stuff for thousands of years. Up until now I thought it was a flavor you had to be raised on – like vegemite.

If they sold this stuff by the half gallon, I’d buy it right now.

I honestly don’t believe that ANYTHING labeled ‘olive oil’ on the American grocery store shelves is olive oil at all. I’m pushing sixty and this is the first time I’ve tasted this light, lovely flavor in my life. I’m convinced that we’re being fed vegetable oil with some fake, petrol-based flavoring to fool us into thinking this is what olive oil is supposed to be. Lies!

If there are any Italians or Greeks out there, let us know if American ‘olive oil’ is correct or not. I suspect not.

Yes, I’ll cook with this. I’ll make salad dressing and happily dip my bread in THIS.

My daughter is staying with us and she’s a fellow olive oil hater. You can bet I forced a spoonful down her throat. To her shock, she loves it, too. And she’s never tasted anything this wonderful in HER life.

Fellow Americans, if you hate olive oil, know that we’ve been bamboozled! You have GOT to try this. Just get one little bottle and really see what you’ve been missing.

Crap. It just dawned on me that I’m supposed to put this lovely golden fluid in my husbands ears… I love him, but it does somehow feel like an insult to the oil.

I tested 25 different oils from grocery store, to specialty store to ones on Amazon that are not available locally. Let me preface this by saying that Olive crops are different every year just as wine grapes and other crops are. So it’s difficult to think you can always stick to one brand every time you buy it because especially if they are a blend of oils, they may be lovely one year and not so lovely another.

However, I can only test what’s in front of me. This Desert Miracle organic extra virgin olive oil tied for first place with the Atlas brand organic extra virgin olive oil. What made these different than all the rest? They actually had the flavor of olives! Imagine that! None of the others had an actual olive flavor. They are both very smooth, flavorful with a slight peppery finish which means they are higher in polyphenols.and neither have any bitterness!!

I have found that EVOO’s from Morocco (Africa) are just so much better than the Italian olive oils for some reason. Even one available from Wal-Mart, organic Terra Delyssa from Tunisia (Africa) was one of the better ones, it had just a tiny amount of bitterness towards the end. I also tried one from Greece and that too was better than all the Italian ones I tested. I am sure if you get a freshly pressed bottle direct from a small town in Italy in person, it would be good, but I don’t have that option in the USA.

Anyway, this is a supremely amazing olive oil!

  6. Michael Townsend

Great tasting Olive Oil for the price. Received exactly as described and pictured above, and the quality of this Oil is top notch in my opinion. I definitely recommend this.

  7. Ennice Reddick

Une bonne excellente huile d’olive. Nous l’adorons avec un bout de baguette.

  8. Melissa H.

Cheaper than the premiere brand of Moroccans. Still a good olive oil and single origin. Cold impeller extraction and the production date was just a few months from purchase. Perfect for a morning shot or drizzle on salads.

  9. Essy use and easy install means everything.

The nutritional benefits are vast in good olive oil! The poly phenols are what you want from a great sourced oil. The BEST oil comes from the deserts of Morocco 🇲🇦. The color is greener and the flavor a bit “spicier”. This oil tastes great and I love to take a tablespoon of it each day! This is a winner!
