So bought this Olive Oil a month ago and I love the oil. it’s cloudy looking and rich in texture and it goes great raw or for cooking.
It has no green taste like other olive oils out there. I also checked the label of this product and I see no mention that the oils come from other countries like one reviewer said. It said made in Italy. It also looks and tastes like the real deal. I’m not questioning the other reviewer that maybe at one time they disclosed this in tiny print but it is not on my bottle. I also bought another brand of French Olive oil named AL’Olivier and not only was that much more expensive compared to Frantoia but this olive oil blew away that one. The bottle is a nice large size and it will last you a long time.

I’ve used this brand after stumbling on it years ago and I’ve found that this brand of olive oil is Consistently excellent. Passes the sip test each time. Fruity rich , sometimes grassy, and fresh aroma and taste, never never bitter. I see brands saying “peppery” flavor and that’s code for a bitter oil. I flavor with olive oil meaning that when I use it in a dish it’s IN there and abundant so it better deliver. I also infuse my own olive oils to have on hand for cooking, like garlic, rosemary or chive so again, I need a good olive oil. After spending my money on quality ingredients and making a meal I don’t want it ruined with crap oil. I’ve splurged and bought very expensive oils and it’s Still hit or miss so why bother anymore. Frantoia is always perfect, no pretentious price … They also don’t mix with oils from other countries to make quota. Heard that from an olive oil geek that taught me how to read the harvest info on labels lol.

Based on other reviews I decided to give this a try. Had not heard of this EVO previously but was looking for a true EVO after reading how many other EVO’s are not true EVO, including the one I had been using. I will continue to use that one for cooking but will use Frantoia EVO for meats, salads, pasta, bread dipping, etc.
I used this on a type of Bruschetta I make. Consisting of sliced French Baguette, covered with a layer of Pesto, slice of tomato, a sprinkling of Parmesan Reggiano, topped off with a thin slice of med. rare flat iron steak and added some Frantoia EVO to the steak.
Very nice! Glad I purchased this EVO! Nice aroma and a delicious taste. Enjoy! 🙂
