Nice cable cutters on a solid crimping tool. I am making picture hanging cables for the backs of some hefty photo mounts, and this cable seems plenty strong. Clean cable cuts are nice to facilitate getting the swage fittings onto the cable – just make sure the cable is square to the tool and the cut will be nice.

I cut the cable both with large bolt cutters and the legit cable cutters. Both methods produced fine cuts. (FWIW, I gave one wrap with painter’s tape for good measure.) No rust after being in the rain for about a month. No kinks or any other flaws in the cable.

Il cavo è come da descrizione, robusto e molto ben fatto. Difficile (se non impossibile) tagliarlo con una normale pinza, meglio affidarsi ad un tronchese o una smerigliatrice. In entrambi i casi il filo, che è composto dall’intreccio di più fili metallici, non si “sfilaccia” mantenendo inalterata la sua robustezza e compattezza.
Vediamo se nel tempo risulterà davvero inossidabile! per il momento si merita 5 stelle!
