Excellent, quality product… slightly ‘challenging’ (but not bad) to fold because of locking mechanism but I’m not sure how it could be designed differently because locking mechanism is essential for safety. This garden stool, garden kneeler (with handles to help get back to standing position) is a blessing for Seniors and younger gardeners alike… if you’re into gardening and/or other projects, it’s lightweight, convenient and comfortable to use and a good investment… your back, knees and body will thank you and, hopefully, hurt less and last longer! The stool/kneeler is reasonably stable depending on the surface where used (eg concrete vs soft/wet ground)… Use appropriate caution not to lean too far back or push backwards for concern of tipping/falling backwards and/or tipping/falling when returning to your standing position. This stool/kneeler is working well for us/Seniors and I would repurchase.

My elderly mother was having trouble lifting herself off the ground while doing gardening. I shopped on Amazon for something light enough, strong enough and with the right size, that she could use daily. I found that there are quite a few of these kneelers under different names and prices.
Well I came to a the suspicion that they were all the same and bought the lowest priced version.
Plain and simple, it works very well. It is everything it needs to be. My Mom is happy with it and has changed her life.
Moral of the story. Spending more money isn’t needed. If this kneeler is still the lowest priced one listed. Grab it.

I used this as a footrest in the house and outside. It is used as seat for gardening and it’s wonderful to use for gardening on your knees! It’s well built, attractive to use on the.patio for.extra seating and sturdy enough to comfortably hold anyone. Good price for that and it’s versabilty. Easy to put together.

I have used this kneeler in the garden quite a bit and have found it to be very helpful. In addition to protecting my knees it has been a wonderful assist in getting up and down. It also works well as a stool. The pouches conveniently hold your basic tools.
I wish I had gotten this kneeler / stool years ago.
I find it to be very sturdy; it handles my 220 pounds without a problem. It folds nicely and I was able to hang it out of the way in my shed using a common screw in a stud.

I have yet to try my new gardening bench/ kneeler, but it seems great inside! It’s easy to set up with spring action locking joints. A simple and efficient mechanism which works well. It’s made from metal tubing so I will definitely plan to keep it dry and out of weather to prevent rust.

The construction is good, but alignment is slightly off. Under weight, it evens out. This does not compromise effectiveness.
I use this as a kneeler only. It lets me garden without discomfort. It is quickly becoming essential.

Makes gardening or any activity that requires kneeling easier, safer and less painful. You can really put your weight on the bars to lower yourself or push up to stand without feeling the unit will flip over. There is just so much bending over to weed and plant that one’s back can handle before you have to get down on your knees and get to it. My husband uses it when he has to kneel to do any job where kneeling is necessary.

I purchased this one because of the softer pad on the seat/kneeling surface. It is exactly what i wanted. I have used it in both positions already. It is light weight, sturdy and gives me the help i need to get back up again! Highly recommended.
