I’ve used another brand of this type Garden Kneeling/Seating Garden Tool for over 20 Years. It has always been very helpful when kneeling for landscaping work or needing a quick & mobile seat. And it became more helpful as I developed arthritis in both knees. Without this device I had to use a cane to get up off of the ground.
Then I (finally) realized I also needed some type of small stool for use in the house. On Christmas Day 2024 I started searching Amazon for that small stool or even a miniature step-ladder. Then I realized the versatile Gardening Tool I’ve been using outside should also work indoors! I changed my Amason search and found this item.
It is PERFECT!
Using it in indoors satisfies the need I thought would come from a small stool or step-ladder. And the biggest benefit for me is how easily I can get up now from sitting on the floor working on projects; repairs; cleaning; etc.
This tool is lightweight and VERY solid. The seat and kneeling pad are firm yet soft.
It is very easy to collapse the legs to fold it for storage (in a closet or laundry area).
Now it does need some DIY work to put something on the legs so it can be used on wood/tile floors (Note to manufacturer.) There should be no issues using it as-is on carpet.

This works well for garden and other use. Good quality and love that it folds for easy storage. The pad is quite thick so comfortable to sit or kneel on. We’ve cleaned it with a quick spray with the garden hose so it’s quite easy to clean. Overall great purchase.

Due to the box (not the product) being damaged in shipment, this became an early Xmas present. It isn’t anything she asked for, and she’s not one to spare feelings when she’s unthrilled w/a gift, but she seemed genuinely delighted with this clever kneeler/bench “transformer”!
It’s fairly robust, with cushy padding for knees & butt, and not unattractive for what it is. Perfect for sundry jobs around home & garden, it could also do in a pinch as overflow outdoor seating. The bonus work apron is a plus, along with the sturdily-built side pockets.
It’s highly portable. The release latches for the folding legs are easy to operate, even for those of us w/arthritic hands. I have to use two canes when I stand or walk, but I was able to easily fold the unit, carry it to another room, set it back up, and sit while adjusting a wall heater. We might actually need two of these.
You have to take the side pockets off to flip it over from kneeler to bench, then re-hang them on the rails that will have just been planted in the dirt. A better option would be to attach pockets in such a way that they can swing freely when flipped.
Currently, there’s nothing at a suitable mid-height to attach anything to. A welded cross-bar added to each leg might do the trick, while adding some welcome stiffness and strength in both configurations. Another nice touch would be to add some simple plastic “feet” to the legs, instead of having the painted metal in direct contact with the ground or floor below.
I felt somewhat unsteady while using it as a bench resting on a tile floor, but I lack normal leg strength, balance and sensation. My wife had no such complaints. (She’s only about 1/2 my size, however, and I’m not overweight.)

I was given a garden bench similar to this one some 6 years ago and I love it. I bought this one for our church since I do a lot of the landscape care and I’m spoiled by my own. This model is actually sturdier than my own and I feel safe on it (I am 71). The tool bags are handy, well stitched and sound. I love that the legs become handles when kneeling on the upturned seat. It makes rising from that position so much easier. This is really a wonderful tool for gardening.

It’s a knee saver. I can painlessly get down on my knees to do yard work or work around the garage. It’s a great seat and step stool as well. And I appreciate the extra width. It’s very sturdy. Well worth the price. I’m very glad I bought this.

I’ve only had the TomCare Garden Kneeler Seat about a week so I can’t address its durability, but other than that it does exactly what it was said to do and what I was looking for.
The padding on the kneeler is comfortable for me for a few minutes. I suspect its level of comfort varies considerably based on the condition of one’s knees, as I anticipated. One can buy inexpensively separate pads of various brands to supplement what comes as part of the device.
The pockets are very adequate for tools. I use a cane and I can easily carry the kneeler in one hand while using the cane with the other. I feel very secure using the kneeler. I do not feel as secure using it as a bench, but then my center of gravity is higher then so that came as no surprise at all.
The legs fold easily as they are readily unlocked from the open extended position.
It works great inside my residence too for such chores as cleaning the tub.
I feel completely stable pushing myself up to a standing position using the legs when I need to move to a different location or when I’m finished.
So far, I am very glad I selected this TomCare brand of garden kneeler and bench.
