I bought this because it seemed more sturdy than the cheaper options and am happy to confirm it really is a well made seat and kneeling tool. Not too heavy and the fold out supports definitely help when using it as a stool or leaning to get up from kneeling.

This garden kneeler is very sturdy and plenty wide enough, and I’m very pleased that it doesn’t require any assembly, just needs to be unfolded. This means it can be easily stored flat so it doesn’t take up much room. Four stars instead of 5 as the box clearly states it includes gloves, but there are none enclosed.

I have bought a few different ones in years past. This is the best quality I have yet seen. Even bought one to keep in the house to help these old bones kneel down and get up. Also found out it’s perfect back support for working under the sink cabinet. Even got one for my plumber friend.

I have seen these convertible kneeler/garden seats advertised all over the place and thought I didn’t need one since I have some small Rubbermaid stools that I use for gardening. Well, somehow I’ve gotten older and find it’s not as easy to stand back up from that low stool. Amazon is my ‘go-to’ place for searching out products and I found so many kneeler/seat combos on the site but then I spotted a slightly more expensive version that had stabilizer bars that extended from the back legs. I never even thought about these seats tilting backwards on unstable ground but once I spotted this version it made sense that could happen. I decided to spend a bit more and try this gardening seat and must say I was surprised with how much heavier it is than the light-weight ones I’ve seen in the big box stores (although it is NOT a heavy item). It sits higher than my old stool but I can reach all the flower pots while sitting on the seat and I love the extensions that make the back legs steadier. When kneeling it is so easy to get back up by grabbing the side handles and I’m grateful for the extra sturdiness of this version of the product. The enclosed tool holder and gloves are a thoughtful extra and I like how the unit folds up for easy storage. The bottom line is this product may cost a bit more than the others but it is well worth it. Highly recommended!!

My Dad loves gardening, but has been having issues with his back and knees which makes it difficult for him to get up from the ground. I bought this kneeler to help him with yard work.
He says it is works great! It is cushiony for his knees. When he is ready to get up, he uses the handles on the sides to brace and lever up. It spares his knees and has worked great for him in the yard.
He has not used the pouches as he uses the kneeler feature exclusively. But that feature alone makes the whole thing worth while.
It is sturdy, he weighs about 230 lbs.
It folds up nicely for storage.
Mom confirms that he is using it and likes it.
A must for anyone who struggles to get up and down in the yard or in the house. This could work well for any ground job.

I can no longer kneel or squat, but still love to garden my perennials. This bench is reasonably high so that I can get back up from it after sitting for awhile. It is the only one I’ve found with stabilizing legs on the back to keep the gardener from accidentally tipping backwards – a very nice safety feature. That said, the stabilizing legs can be locked at various lengths but do NOT lock into position. Every time the stool is moved, the back legs just flop. Not a great design. As long as one is careful each time the stool is placed on a new position on the ground, it works well. Easy to open and close. Comes with a handy hanging pocket for hand tools. Also comes with a pair of “claw” gloves for weeding which may or may not fit.

Excellent product. Bought for use on allotment as finding it hard to get up from kneeling position as I get older. This is a sturdy piece of kit with a good knee pad and firm arms. Folds flat. Very pleased with both quality and price; wish I’d bought years ago.
